In this article we are going to show you how to create a new booking and send out a payment request for future bookings.

There are 3 payment options you can choose from:

All these options start with the same steps, we will go over them and then go into each option.

First go to the “Booking” page and click on the “+ Add Booking” button:

Select a client from your client database in the drop-down (left) or add a new client (right):

Determine the service you are going to provide by filling out all relevant details, such as: the booking date, start and end time, a short description, the price including VAT and finally the currency you wish to use.

Optionally, you can also choose to add multiple (sub)services to one booking (examples below). You can do this by clicking on “+Add another service”. Once you filled out all the details for your booking click “Continue”.

In the drop-down you can now select the payment method and choose between:

​Already paid:

This option applies to photoshoots for which your clients have already gone through with the payment (which happened outside the Smiler photographer suite).

When you upload the photos to their gallery they will be able to download the photos right away (there won't be a watermark on the photos).

​Upfront payment:

Choose this option if you want your client to make an upfront payment in order to be booked with you. You can choose to have them pay a part or the total price, depending on the arrangement you have with them.

After choosing the amount click on “Continue”. You will now be re-directed to a shareable payment request link. You can now copy-paste and share this link with your clients.

Payment on delivery:

When you select this option the client will pay upon delivery. Once you have uploaded the photos to their photo gallery, your client will receive a photo gallery where the photos are protected by watermark. They can preview the photos with watermark, which only will be removed automatically after completing the payment.
