How to register your booking customers

Redeeming a voucher is easy and straightforward. You have 3 ways to do so.

  • The first one is by scanning a QR code that was sent to your customers right after they booked a photoshoot with Smiler. This QR code will be on the customer voucher.

  • But if your customer is unable to find this QR code for any reason you can also manually register a photoshoot by filling in the unique voucher code associated with their photoshoot.

  • Look into the bookings you have associated with your account and select the right customer.


1. Scanning the QR code

  • First, go into your Smiler photographer app. It will open on the main page “Shoot” in which you can register your photoshoot. Click the pink button.

  • Then Click on the “Scan client’s QR” button.

  • You will then access the scanning portal. Your camera will automatically open once you have given the authorization and you can now scan your customer's QR code.

  • After you have scanned the QR code a screen will appear asking you to confirm your customers information. Feel free to show them to make sure everything is registered correctly.

  • Once everything is confirmed click “Submit and complete” to register the shoot in your account.


2. Manually registering your client

  • First, go to the “Schedule” tab of your app. There you can see the booking you wish to register for. Click on the 3 grey dots on the right to access the details option.

  • You can now click on “Details” to gain access to the voucher code.

  • Once you are in, you can look for the voucher code and click the copy button next to it. A green screen will appear at the top of the page, stating the code was successfully saved to your clipboard.

  • Once the code is copied, follow the same steps as for scanning a QR code. But this time, you will paste the code in the area called "Voucher code". A screen will appear asking you to confirm your customers' information. Use the opportunity to check with your customers to make sure their information is put in correctly.

  • You can then click "Submit and complete" for your shoot to be registered.


3. Find booking in your schedule

  • First go to your Smiler photographer app to the main page, “Shoot” and click the pink button.

  • Click on “Find booking in schedule”. This will open a menu showing all your recent photoshoots.

  • After you have selected a booking, a screen will appear asking you to confirm your customers information. Feel free to show them to make sure everything is registered correctly.

  • Once everything is in order click “Submit and complete” the shoot will now be saved in your account.
