# Managing your calendar availability

Managing your schedule efficiently is crucial for maximizing your opportunities as a photographer. Smiler’s calendar integration with Google Calendar and its working hours feature helps prevent scheduling conflicts and ensures clients can only book you during your available times.

**Set Up Working Hours:**

• In the “Calendar” page of your Smiler suite, you can set up your working hours.

• Select the days of the week you are available and toggle your availability on or off.

• For each day, specify the exact hours you are available. For example, if you want to work from 11 AM to 4 PM on Fridays, set those hours accordingly.

• These settings will prevent clients from booking you outside your specified working hours and during any events in your Google Calendar.

**Block Off Personal Time:**

• To prevent bookings during personal time, open your connected Google Calendar.

• Select the date and time you want to block off and create an event (e.g., label it “Busy”).

• Save the event in your Google Calendar. Smiler will recognize this block and prevent bookings during these times.
